Wes Durham has been radio play-by-play voice of the Atlanta Falcons since 2004, and just completed 6th season as the primary football and basketball play-by-play announcer for the ACC on Fox Sports South and Raycom Sports

He’s also a co-host of a morning satellite show on SiriusXM’s ACC channel.

This August, he will be part of the ACC Network from ESPN, in both play-by-play and a daily morning show with Mark Packer.

From 1995-2013, he was the radio voice of Georgia Tech, and was on the call for more than 750 football and basketball games.

In October of 2015, Durham was inducted into the Georgia Tech Sports Hall of Fame, for his 18-year career with the Yellow Jackets.

He is an 11-time winner of the “Georgia Sportscaster of the Year” by the National Sports Media Association. 

His late father, Woody Durham, is one of the most decorated college announcers of all-time, after a 40-year career as the “Voice of the Tar Heels” for North Carolina football and basketball.

A 1988 graduate of Elon, Wes holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, and was honored by their School of Communications as their “Distinguished Alumnus”, in April of 2013.

An avid golfer, Durham has 20 year old twins, Emily (attends Florida State) and Will (attends Kennesaw State), and is married to the former Vicky Newman. She and Wes now live in her hometown, Cartersville, Georgia.
