Justin, how did you get started with Winning Edge?

Well, my mom works at the University of Miami. She had a couple of her athletes go to the retreat that took place that summer. So naturally, I heard about the program and decided to reach out to them to see how I could get involved.

What has been the most influential part of your experience?

The Dinner of Influence during the 2018 retreat has had the most impact on me. I learned about the many facets of the sports world and learned not to narrow it down to just what we see on TV.

What practical skills have you learned through your experience that you can take with you in your career?

Definitely my elevator pitch.

Who impacted you the most throughout the program?

Overall, the whole program has had a big impact on me and my life and future aspirations. The members of my cohort also had a big impact on me. All of them treated me like I was their little brother.
