Winning Edge, InXAthlete Team Up to Connect Game Changers and Employers
Winning Edge X platform to provide employment opportunities and additional resources
ATLANTA – The Winning Edge Leadership Academy, a nonprofit created to develop the next generation of women and minority leaders in the sports and entertainment industry, and InXAthlete, an online student-athlete employment platform, announced today that they will start a long-term partnership to promote opportunities and resources for Winning Edge Game Changers.
“As we enter our fifth season of influencing tomorrow’s leaders, we want to continue providing resources that support them and their journey,” Winning Edge Executive Director Corinne Milien said. “This partnership with InXAthlete will provide an online profile for Game Changers and direct access to our partners looking to offer valuable work experience from internships to full-time opportunities.”
Through a customized platform, called Winning Edge X, Game Changers will connect with employers who value the skills that athletes bring to the industry. InXAthlete operates on the premise that student-athletes make excellent team members to any organization because of their discipline, work ethic, teamwork, and dedication. The Winning Edge X platform will also share online resources including professional development webinars, connections to volunteers providing advice, and information on upcoming events.
"We can't wait to help Student-Athletes alongside The Winning Edge Academy be prepared for professional life and find them better opportunities for jobs and internships than ever before,” said Cody Ferraro, co-fonder of InXAthlete. “Corinne and Maria are individuals who really care about their community, and we are very eager to help facilitate them in accomplishing their mission.”
InXAthlete’s online platform was created for student-athletes by two student-athletes to provide a simplified way for organizations to seek out potential candidates that fit their growing needs.

All participants of Winning Edge programming: Game Changing Retreats (2018 & 2019), Sports + Entertainment Career Summit, and Dinners of Influence are now eligible for Winning Edge X, student-athlete or not.
All future applicants, student-athlete or not, must attend Winning Edge programming including WE summer events, Dinners of Influence, on-campus engagements, or a minimum of two WE Huddles (in-person or online).
