Asia currently serves as a Manager of Integrated Sales & Marketing at the National Football League (NFL) where she is responsible for the creation and execution of digital sponsorships. During the 2018-19 season, she oversaw the strategy and execution of more than 4,500 social posts across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. She is also an active member of the NFL’s Black Engagement Network and the National Sports Forum 2019 BDSE (Business of Diversity in Sports & Entertainment) Cohort, both aimed at increasing diversity in the field of sports. Prior to joining the NFL, Asia served as the Social Strategy Manager with the Orlando Magic. While in Orlando she oversaw a 20-30% increase in followers, engagements and video views. Her professional background also includes stints with Carat and MEC Global media agencies working with brands including L’Oreal, Chevrolet and Cadillac. Long term Asia aspires to create a hybrid Chief Marketing/ Chief Experience Officer role at a sports franchise.
Asia has been featured in Forbes, Hashtag Sports and the recipient of the 2019 Michigan State University College of Communication of Arts and Sciences Rising Star Alumni Award.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Asia is a proud Michigan State University alum and earned her undergraduate degree from the university’s College of Communication Arts and Sciences. Currently residing in the Los Angeles area, her volunteerism includes Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Cari Champion’s Brown Girls Dream foundation, SxSW HBCU Battle of the Brains, and her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
