head of development
The common thread throughout my career is my passion for connecting people and causes to strategic resources. I presently lead Development work for the Atlanta International School, and it is my everyday objective to generate resources that will allow our School, its students and educators to make the best possible impact. Through my leadership of fundraising, stewardship and engagement responsibilities, I remain thoughtful about how the work I lead directly impacts and benefits our students. They are the reason my work has meaning, and I never lose sight of that.
My earlier work with the Atlanta Falcons is also reflective of my desire to connect organizations and brands with meaningful causes and resources. During my 13-year tenure with the Atlanta Falcons organization, I was fortunate to lead a broad range of philanthropic, community relations, and event marketing responsibilities. Falcons owner and chairman Arthur M. Blank would often say “There is no finish line”, and that motto lies at the foundation of the work I led there to build processes and lead initiatives that benefit and serve others.
As a former student-athlete, I know the true meaning of competition, and have used the many lessons I learned as a track athlete at the University of Texas to help build my capacity to lead – whether at the NCAA, the Atlanta Falcons, or in my current role at the Atlanta International School. Competition fuels greatness, and ultimately makes us the leaders we’re intended to be.
