Georgia Institute of Technology
Director of Compliance

I've been a member of Georgia Tech athletics’ compliance staff since 2013. I came to The Flats as assistant director of compliance, promoted to associate director of compliance in 2017 and was named director of compliance in 2019.

In my role, I assist with the daily operations of the compliance office that monitors 17 intercollegiate sports.

Before being hired at Georgia Tech, I spent two and a half years as the first full-time assistant athletic director for compliance at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y. There I oversaw all areas of compliance and academics for the college’s 18 intercollegiate sports in accordance with NCAA and NE-10 Conference regulations. I served as the point person for all NCAA and NE-10 inquires along with the Saint Rose Compliance Committee and volunteered in various other departments throughout campus.

Currently, I'm a member of Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA), National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) and Multicultural Excellence in College Athletics (MECA) . I'm a graduate of the Division II Governance Academy (2012), NCAA Leadership Institute (2012) and Women Leaders in College Sports Institute of Administrative Advancement (East 2015).

Prior to my time at Saint Rose, I spent a year as the compliance assistant at Harvard University in Boston, Mass., where I helped monitor 41 varsity sports that served more than 1,200 student-athletes. In addition, I aided the Crimson’s Recreation Department as a front desk manager and recreation specialist involved in all facets of managing the facility, which is a Boston Sports Club affiliate gym.

I completed my master’s degree in sports studies at High Point University in December 2010. During my graduate studies in the summer of 2009, I was selected to participate in the United States Olympic Committee’s Finding Leaders Among Minorities Everywhere (FLAME) program.

A 2008 graduate of Norfolk State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, I was an outside hitter on the women’s volleyball team from 2005-08 and a member of the women’s basketball team during 2005-06. I am a two-time team volleyball captain and also garnered team MIP honors as a junior and MVP accolades as a senior. I furthermore earned a spot on the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) all-academic team throughout my four years by maintaining a GPA above 3.00. I also volunteered in various aspects within the athletics department for two years and served as the secretary for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) throughout her college career.

A native of Chesapeake, Va., I am the second oldest of five siblings and the proud aunt of two nieces and two nephews. I enjoy officiating high school volleyball and basketball in my spare time.
